When we were making our review, we tested some of the plans and inevitably we tested the billing control panel as well. Usually, at least for the sake of paying your bills, you will need to use the billing account coming with your hosting plan. This is why the design, flexibility and easiness to use it, are important features when evaluating the overall value of a company. In this case via your billing account home tab, you can check your packages, and the latest Forum Posts, as well as being connected to the chat support directly from this any page in case you need some help. The other tabs allow you to manage your domains, plan, backups, SSL, etc. in terms of buying new ones or canceling some of them. As in almost any billing account, you will be able to open a ticket directly from this platform. The overall impression is that it is made easy to use, without too much overriding information or ads to distract you.
Plans
The company offers the full variety of plans available on the web hosting market. The shared and reseller plans are strictly Linux, but for the VPS and Cloud solutions you have options to choose Windows if you need certain things such as ASP for your site(s). In case you take a reseller plan, you can choose whether or not to provide your customers with the Interserver’s support email, which they can take advantage of for minor issues only. Keep in mind that for the VPS and Cloud plans, all third party software should be installed and managed by your side.
Control Panel
WHM/cPanel – here again no surprises and for those of you who have worked with this panel before, it will look the same way here. For the others, who have never touched a cPanel, it is by far probably the most stable and easy to use, manage, and configure control panel. For the VPS and Cloud Solutions, in case you choose to take a Windows solution, no control panel is offered. For the Linux plans WHM/cPanel and DirectAdmins are the options available.
Customer Support
The hierarchy in the support is not unusual with the LiveChat left to handle only sales requests and the technical support being directed and managed via the ticket system. When we tested the chat, the quality was satisfactory; however there were moments when the answers were received after a certain lapse of time and some of them were kind of vague and not really specific. Other forms of support you can use are to use the toll free phone number or to contact them via Skype. All of the support is available 24/7 which is becoming a must nowadays for a hosting company in order to stay competitive on the market.
